He also referred to the recent instructions to give permanent commission and command post to women officers in the army. Kovind said- If you give an example, the Supreme Court has always been active and progressive to achieve the goal of gender justice. He said the Supreme Court has led progressive social change, from issuing guidelines two decades ago to stop sexual harassment at the workplace, and this month to give equal status to women in the military.

Kovind expressed happiness that the Supreme Court verdict is now available in nine indigenous languages. Which will facilitate the access of common people to these decisions. At the same time, he termed this effort as extraordinary, keeping in mind the linguistic diversity of the nation. Kovind said- Supreme Court should also be praised for carrying out many revolutionary reforms. Through which the common people have access to justice. The historic rulings passed by this court have strengthened the legal and constitutional structures of the country.

What it has achieved is nothing short of a silent revolution to detect and fix problems that adversely affect the justice delivery system. Kovind referred to the role of the judiciary in coordinating environmental protection and sustainable development. Which gets a lot of attention in many countries. On the challenges faced by the judiciary in the wake of the development of information technology, the President said that new questions like data protection and right to privacy had arisen.
